  • I create and deliver tailored training courses for our network, including over 300+ churches, charities, and schools, operated both online and in-person, on a local and national level.
  • I liaise with network members, our internal team, and external stakeholders, in meeting the goals of our digital strategy.
  • Manage, as part of the diocesan communications team, diocesan social media, and digital channels on a day-to-day basis, including a range of Facebook groups, advising on new areas of opportunity for engagement.
  • Produce, edit, and manage all digital content that is communicated through our internal and external channels, including social media, our website, and our print publications.
  • Create video content from the first concept to the finished product. Often taking a brief and developing on a variety of stakeholder opinions and ideas, ensuring that different voices contribute to a coherent narrative
  • I am the lead photographer and videographer at local and regional events. My biggest piece to date has been filming an interview with the Archbishop of Canterbury.
  • Manage and report on the performance of our website from a user experience, search optimisation, analytical, and content perspective.

2020 - 21 | Digital Communications Manager, St Peter's House - Manchester University

During my time here I worked as part of The Well Project, which was a holistic response project to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a lead digital head on the project, I was responsible for all areas of digital and technical application, see below for an example of my achievements in this role:

  • Designed, developed, and managed a fully functional support site that allowed students and local residents to refer themselves for food and wellness support during the lockdown in Manchester. We provided over 30,000+ meals and supported users with over 100+ hours of digital well-being content.

  • I scripted and filmed over 100+ hours of digital wholeness material, including pilates, yoga, spoken word, gong bath therapy and much more. The content was then edited, hosted on the designed site, and communicated across a range of channels.

  • Produced weekly cookery classes along with unique recipe cards to go out in food parcels we delivered to students in need. I then took the initiative to turn this into an online filterable library full of free downloadable recipes with relevant videos. We filmed over 40 recipes which have been received by over 10,000 students and local residents.

  • Managed several communications channels across various accounts, improving engagement and updating the profiles to fit a consistent branding which was designed by myself.

  • Designed weekly print newsletters, each with unique designs and creative input, from QR codes to AR filters.

  • Coded onto the site a ‘Find your Church’ system, allowing churches to register as part of the chaplaincy and populate a forum of nearby churches. In addition to this, I also implemented a booking system to allow the renting of the cafe and chaplaincy spaces.

  • Voluntarily delivered food to students and residents across Manchester who were in need of support during the lockdown.

– SEO Consultancy
– PPC Consultancy
– Web Design

– PR & Outreach
– Social Media Management

My most notable freelance experience has been working with Pixel Inspiration, a leader in the digital signage market, looking to grow into mainland Europe.
